These terms govern your use of Saywide, a service for creating surveys, collecting written and spoken answers, and producing AI-assisted reports. The service is operated by saywide.com (“we”), under the Saywide name, a QRXRQ product. Our address and applicable registration and tax details are on the legal information page. The service operator is distinct from the payment merchant of record described in section 5. By creating a survey or an account, you agree to these terms as an organizer. If you answer a survey, the respondent information in section 2 and the acceptable-use and AI provisions apply to your participation. Accepting these terms is not blanket consent to personal-data processing; see the privacy policy.
1. Accounts
You can try Saywide in a guest workspace without an account. A guest workspace is tied to a cookie in your browser; if that cookie is lost, so is access to the workspace. Create an account to keep your work.
You must be at least 16 to create surveys, including in a guest workspace, or to create an account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity in your account. If you use Saywide for an organization, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.
2. Your surveys and data
You retain any rights you already hold in content submitted through Saywide. We do not claim ownership of surveys, answers or reports. Respondents and other rights holders retain their own rights; collecting an answer does not transfer those rights to the organizer. You give us the permission needed to host, process and display content to provide the service, and must have the rights and permissions needed for its intended use.
Data protection roles depend on who actually determines the purposes and means of processing. The organization running a survey will usually be the controller; an employee may act on its behalf, and an agency may act as its processor. We process survey content on the customer’s documented instructions as a processor or sub-processor under the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. Our separate responsibilities for account administration and security are described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect the answers you ask for, for telling respondents who runs the survey, how to contact them, why answers are collected, who receives answers or reports, and anything else the law requires beyond what Saywide shows them. Do not ask for special categories of data (such as health information) unless the law allows it and you have the necessary safeguards.
Anyone with a survey’s link can answer it while it is open. Share links with care.
Information for respondents
Your answers are submitted to the organizer running the survey. If you are unsure who that is, what they will use your answers for, or who they will share them with, ask the person who invited you before submitting. The organizer can read submitted answers and generate reports that may include short quotations from them. Organizers may download and share reports, subject to their legal obligations and the information they give you. Avoid including identifying or sensitive details you do not want them to receive.
Voice answers are streamed to Amazon Transcribe and converted to text. Saywide does not retain an audio recording. You can review and edit the transcript before submitting. The privacy policy explains processing, providers and your rights. Contact the survey operator about your answers; if you need help reaching them, email team@qrxrq.com. A survey’s intended audience and any age or parental-consent requirements must be explained by its operator. The organizer age rule in section 1 does not determine the lawful basis for children’s participation.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Saywide to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights;
- collect passwords, payment details or government ID numbers;
- harass, deceive or exploit anyone, including phishing or impersonation;
- target children without lawful basis and any required parental consent;
- send spam, malware or content that sexualizes minors;
- overload the service, circumvent its limits or security, or test for vulnerabilities without our prior authorization.
We may suspend surveys or accounts that break these rules or put others at risk. Respondents of a suspended account see that the survey is unavailable. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. To report abuse, email team@qrxrq.com.
4. AI features
Reports, survey drafts, translations and voice transcription are produced automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong, can misread tone, and can miss or overstate themes. Check reports against the answers before relying on them, particularly for decisions about people. Automated checks reject some quotes containing apparent contact details, but cannot guarantee that a report contains no personal information. Reports are not professional advice and should not be the sole basis for decisions with significant effects on a person.
Saywide does not use survey content to train its own AI models. Provider processing, request storage and retention are described in the privacy policy. Turning off request storage does not by itself establish a provider’s training policy; we do not make a blanket promise about all providers or configurations.
5. Plans and payment
Saywide has a free plan and a paid plan, Saywide Pro, billed monthly or yearly. Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page. Review the total, currency, billing interval and applicable taxes shown at checkout before paying.
Payment provider and support
Paid purchases use Stripe Managed Payments. Sold through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record and facilitates sales on our behalf, as identified in the applicable checkout and purchase terms. It handles payment, applicable taxes, invoices and payment-related support. We provide Saywide and product support. Keep your purchase receipt and use its support details for payment or refund requests. Link’s applicable purchase and refund terms also apply, including any broader refund rights they provide. These terms do not restrict the merchant of record’s refund decisions or your mandatory consumer rights.
Renewal, cancellation and billing changes
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Cancellation does not itself delete your content; retention follows the privacy policy.
- Changing plans. Available billing changes, their effective date and any adjustment to your charge are shown in the billing portal before you confirm.
- Failed payments. A subscription marked past due keeps Pro access for seven days from the start of that past-due period. Access ends when the grace period expires unless payment is recovered; a paused or cancelled subscription does not qualify for this grace period. Payment retries and collection may continue under the payment provider’s settings after Pro access ends. To stop renewal, cancel through the billing portal; losing access does not itself cancel a subscription.
- Price changes. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies to your next period; you can turn off renewal before the new price applies. A renewal price change does not alter the price of an already-paid monthly or annual period.
Report allowances and complimentary access
Report allowances reset at the start of each calendar month in UTC, including for yearly subscriptions. Upgrading or receiving complimentary Pro access changes your limit but does not reset usage already recorded that month. Failed reports do not use your report allowance. Complimentary access is separate from a paid subscription and may expire or be revoked according to the grant.
Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
If you buy online as an EU consumer, you generally have 14 days from entering the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Using Saywide or generating a report does not, by itself, remove that right. If you expressly request service to begin during the withdrawal period after receiving the required information, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for service supplied before withdrawal. Any loss of the right must meet the applicable legal conditions; it is not assumed from ordinary use.
Turning off renewal is separate from exercising withdrawal or requesting a refund. Follow the withdrawal instructions and any online withdrawal function supplied with your purchase. You may also send an unequivocal withdrawal statement using the contact details below; we will help route payment requests to the merchant of record. Payment and refund support is available through Link support. For help from Saywide, email team@qrxrq.com with your account email, purchase date and a clear statement of your request. Do not send card details.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Saywide available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the service to maintain security, comply with law, fix faults, preserve compatibility or improve functionality. Changes beyond those needed to maintain conformity must have a valid reason and meet applicable legal conditions. We will explain material changes, their reasons and their effective date. For changes that negatively affect access or use, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or another durable medium, explaining your available options, without additional charges for the change.
If a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes during an already-paid period, you may terminate the affected service and receive a proportional refund for the unused period. Where Portuguese consumer rules for digital-service modifications apply, you may terminate free of charge within 30 days after receiving the notice or after the change takes effect, whichever is later, subject to the statutory conditions and any lawful option to keep the unchanged, conforming service at no additional cost. These rights are separate from turning off renewal. Statutory remedies for a service that does not conform to the contract remain available.
7. Ending your use
Downgrades and retained content
You can stop using Saywide at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). Export anything you want to keep first. Markdown reports are available on every plan; CSV responses and Word/PDF reports require Pro. A downgrade does not delete existing surveys, answers or reports, but paid export formats and branding stop being available. Content remains subject to the privacy policy’s retention rules, including those for guest workspaces and backups. Closing a survey does not delete its answers, and Saywide does not retain original voice recordings.
Account deletion and billing
Account deletion is separate from cancellation. Before deleting an account, any subscription that would renew must be cancelled; our deletion process blocks deletion while such a subscription remains active. Contact us if you need help. Deletion does not itself request a refund or erase records the payment provider must retain.
Access and return of data
Paid export features do not restrict legally required access, portability or return of data. Where law or our data processing agreement requires retrieval or return, contact us for assistance regardless of your plan. Following a qualifying termination, we will make eligible user-provided or user-created content available free of charge, without hindrance, within a reasonable time and in a commonly used, machine-readable format, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Termination and service closure
We may terminate an account for serious or repeated breaches, or where required by law. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach. Immediate suspension or termination may be necessary to address unlawful activity or urgent security risks. If we discontinue the service, we will normally give at least 30 days’ notice. We will provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve content where lawful and safe, and refund prepaid fees for service we will no longer supply, subject to any lawful deductions and the merchant of record’s process. Mandatory refund and retrieval rights remain available, including following termination for breach.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, harm to life, physical or moral integrity or health, and non-contractual property damage where Portuguese standard-contract law prohibits such a limitation. Your mandatory consumer rights and remedies are unaffected.
For business users, and only for contractual claims for which a cap is lawful, our total aggregate liability is limited to all fees you have paid for Saywide up to the event giving rise to the claim, including payments through the merchant of record. If you have paid no fees, the cap is zero, but only where lawful. For those business claims, we also exclude indirect loss and lost profits only to the extent permitted by law. This cap and these exclusions do not apply to consumer claims or any liability described in the preceding paragraph.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there. For consumer dispute resolution and the complaints book, see the legal information page.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, security requirements, the service or our billing arrangements. We will publish the revised text and date, and notify account holders by email at least 30 days before a material adverse change takes effect, unless a shorter period is legally required or necessary for an urgent security issue; in that case we will explain the reason and give as much notice as reasonably possible.
Changes to renewal prices apply as described in section 5. We will not use an update to these terms to remove rights for an already-paid period. If a material adverse change applies during that period, you may terminate the affected service and receive a proportional refund for the unused period. The notice will explain how to exercise that right. Any longer or otherwise more favorable statutory right, including the applicable modification rights in section 6, remains available.
11. Platform rights
Saywide’s software, design, branding and other platform materials belong to us or their respective rights holders. You may access and use the service for its intended purposes in accordance with these terms and your plan. Using Saywide does not transfer ownership of the platform or grant permission to use its branding in a way that suggests endorsement. Rights in surveys, answers and reports are addressed in section 2.
Components made available under an open-source or other separate licence remain subject to that licence. These terms do not restrict rights granted by those licences or by applicable law.
12. Third-party services
Optional external services, such as Google sign-in, and payment services have their own terms and privacy notices. Review those terms when you choose to use them. Links to external websites do not mean that we endorse their content, and their operators are responsible for those websites.
We also engage providers to deliver parts of Saywide, including hosting, transcription and AI processing. Those arrangements are described in the privacy policy and data processing agreement. This section does not remove our responsibilities for the service or for providers processing personal data on our behalf.
13. How this agreement works
Related documents
These terms govern your use of Saywide. The data processing agreement forms part of them and takes precedence if there is a conflict about processing survey personal data on your instructions. The privacy policy explains how personal data is handled; it does not replace the data processing agreement or provide blanket consent. The checkout and purchase terms govern your transaction with the merchant of record, including the price, billing interval and applicable payment and refund arrangements. They do not remove the rights we expressly give you here or your mandatory legal rights.
Invalid provisions and enforcement
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. An invalid provision will not be used to reduce your mandatory rights. If either party delays enforcing a right or does not enforce it on one occasion, that does not by itself waive the right to enforce it later.
